Volunteer with Us

Did you know the Augusta Historic Theatre & Arts Council are run entirely by volunteers?

Our volunteers are responsible for every aspect of an event. There are so many things that you can do: from getting the popcorn ready or selling tickets, to projecting the movie or running the sound system. Some events we just need help keeping things on track. Everyone helps to clean up after the movie or event and it takes no time at all.

 

Volunteering is a great team building experience! You can sign up as a team from work, as a family, or individually. No matter what, you will make new friends! Many of our volunteers have been a part of the Arts Council Volunteers for several years (decades even) and now their children volunteer as well. It is also a great way for high school students to get their volunteer points in.

Positions are available from age 16 on up!
