YOU DID IT!

2021 Marquee Lighting_edited.jpg

Our iconic 1935 neon marquee, the centerpiece of Augusta's historic Red Brick District, was damaged in a ferocious storm.

You did it! With your help we are preserving this Art Deco architectural treasure for future generations.

The official Lighting Ceremony for our newly restored marquee was held on November 30, 2021.

We are so thankful for all the hard work of the Augusta Arts Council board, past and present, McCollom Construction, Alternative Electric, B.L. Stanley, Katherine Heywood, Sugar Shane's Cafe and Shane Scott, We Kan Network, Community National Trust, Cornejo, Cooper Drug, Family 1st Living, Lewis Simmons, Windswept Salon, Kay Bleakley in memory of Mr. & Mrs. D.A. Bisagno and Mr. & Mrs. Robert D. Bisagno, Playa Azul, Lincoln Elementary, Bill and Linda Morris, Laura and Jeff Tuttle, LaDonna and Jeffrey Pearson, Meredith Helton, Anonymous Donors, our Volunteers, and the Augusta Community. Without all of you this would not have been possible. Thank you all so much. We look forward to continuing our service to the community and bringing you new things. See you at The Augusta!
